Roots Class - Winter Series

Our Roots Series is designed with our youngest babies in mind.

One of our primary goals for this series (and really all of them) is to build a strong foundation for connecting with your baby and supporting their development through play.

Throughout the first 10 weeks you will learn beneficial positions for your baby to play in and how to engage them through developmentally appropriate play and songs.

We will also be covering different topics that may include:

  • Introduction to purposeful play: The power of observation & how to communicate with your baby

  • Positioning in play: Setting baby up for a strong body & healthy head shape

  • Strategies for establishing a strong foundation for language

  • Mastering tummy time

  • Visual development & healthy neck screening

  • Gas & Reflux: Strategies for a more comfortable babe

  • Language is everywhere: Self & Parallel talk

  • Rolling 101: Setting the stage for mobility

  • Oral motor development: When to introduce teethers, midline development, and exploration

  • Body awareness: Brain-body connection through language and touch

A Quick Note…

Within each class there will be time and space to play freely with your baby, implementing the strategies from the topics we cover. It is truly our goal that you can take something tangible from each class and become confident in connecting and play with your baby.

We will also save time and space for each mom to share freely what is going well in their motherhood journey, and what might feel like a struggle. We aim to create a brave space where you feel supported and validated.

We can’t wait for you and your baby to join us!
