Sprouts (3-6 months) | Spring Series (March 21st-May30th, 2025
Come join us every Friday from 10:35-11:35am at Holy Cross Church in Livermore, for a 10 week session starting March 21st-May 30th (no classes will be held the first week of April due to Spring Break).
Our Sprouts Series is designed for babies to start any time between the ages of 3-6 months old. Note: If your baby was born early, please reach out if you would like some guidance deciding on classes).
One of our primary goals for this series (and really all of them) is to build a strong foundation for connecting with your baby and supporting their development through play.
Throughout the 10 week series you will learn beneficial positions for your baby to play in and how to engage them through developmentally appropriate play and songs.
Each class follows a similar structure:
Welcome songs and settling in
Music and Movement (developmentally appropriate songs and positions for your baby)
Developmental Topic with time to play and practice
High’s & Low’s- Time for moms to chat, share, breathe, and give/receive advice
Bubbles and Bye bye’s
Developmental topics for Sprouts include:
Developmental overview & our favorite toys and books for this stage
Not a newborn anymore! Supporting your baby’s mobility and motor skills.
Brain development and ideas for play time
Sitting 101: Becoming good, active sitters
Raising a reader: Strategies for reading with your baby
Visual development & hand-eye coordination: Reaching and Grasping
Gestures 101: Modeling through daily activities and play
Babyproofing: Signs baby will be on the move soon & creating a “yes” space
Readiness for solids: Ensuring a strong foundation first
Independent play: Encouraging it, and not feeling guilty about it!
